What does this holster go with?

Recommended Posts

The holster is for an Argentine Systema 1927, which was the M1911A1 pistol made by Colt's or license produced, or the indigenous Ballester Molina .45 auto. The holster was originally issued with a shoulder strap, as well. The odd looking side pouch held two magazines. The holster was primarily for police use. There were minor design variations. The one pictured above is missing the strap that secures the flap.

Here are a couple of Argentine produced .45 pistols in the collection, a British contract Ballester Molina from 1942, and a Systima 1927, just 86 serials from the end of production in 1966. Had to find the correct holster, of course!

Very nice! Let me know if you'd be interested in buying my holster. Sounds like it would go nicely with your collection
