BRMCII
Curious to know if a specific case was made to fit the '21A version. Having seen many pics over the years of cases, they all have had a front chock for the compensator. I have a Swetnam case acquired in the early 1970s with the usual compensator chock and have a '21A with it. Apologies for not making it clear that I was asking specifically about Swetnam cases. I have seen the other types that fit the '21A's such as pictured above. So any examples of the Swetnam types specifically made for the '21A's? 1921A
I believe the answer to your question is no. Ive never seen or heard of a Swetnam style case sized to a 21A or for that matter any other type case from that period.

OldFalGuy
I already have 2 replica police cases and one viola case from Gordon at SAR in Phoenix years ago As I only have 2 Thompsons I might see about refitting one for an AR15/10 just for giggles. I'm very skeptical about that idea. But I'm not skeptical about Dillinger putting a Thompson into a music instrument case. Probably a lot of guns have been carried in gym bags and toolboxes and all kinds of improvisation. An M60 barrel bag works well and the two side pockets hold the butt and some 20/30 round mags.
