'zoo
I ended up with a patent date 20 round mag. If someone is interested in it, I'll pass on making it fit my semi auto. It's not pristine, but I can email pics to anyone who'd like to look. I'd like $30 (priority mail included in the US) or two WWII 20 rd mags in the same serviceable condition, or one WWII 20 round mag in significantly better shape. Of course, already modified for a semi auto would be just fine. Thanks, Jeremy

brian
how about changing your mag catch out, so you don't have to "change" mags? it's not hard and there's a few different ways you can do it.
'zoo
TD and Grey Crow, I'll email you gys when I get home from work. It came with 3 semi mags, and I had picked up two altered ones before I even found the Thompson. I'm pretty well commited to the original setup. Zamm
Yeah, That kinda happened to me... I Kept buying semi ready mags through the years ( who knew?!) and, until I joined this forum, I even opened up a few surplus ones myself http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif So, 15 mags later and smarter, I'm locked into the semi catch. Boy, if only we knew about this info during the 70's and 80's... Zamm
