Hotels For Tata Show And Shoot

Recommended Posts

Talked to Tracie this morning and he wants to know if getting a hotel becomes a problem. I had mentioned in my note to him that the Granville was full. As I mentioned I have gotten a room at the Courtyard and did not have to look too hard. If it becomes a problem he would consider a block of rooms closer to Columbus and a shuttle. Maybe I jumped the gun is assuming rooms might be an issue as the online services show nothing available but a phone call may overcome that.

Bottom line, you should book one now and if you can't let it be known.

Again to the question, has anyone tried to get a room? The Granivlle is full because of two weddings and Mopar. I don't know that anywhere else if full. If you act now it may be a moot point. You can always cancel later.

When we elect Mike to the board of TATAs he can birng up the schedule change.

Tracie's is not a far drive from my home at all; a lot less than 175 miles. However, I stayed at the Granville last year and although pricey, was worth the short walk from the downtown watering hole.....both nights.

I would support either a change in dates or a shuttle for this year. I'm sure the added cost of a shuttle could more than be absorbed by reduced rates from a block of rooms closer to Columbus.

Like I mentioned before.... the area has this weekend identified as a "Big Event Weekend". They DO have rooms, but you have to call the hotel (maybe not Granville Inn) as they will not list any rooms as available through any internet means.

Keep checking...
