1928 Bolt

Recommended Posts

The price or value will depend a lot on if the bolt is bright (often referred to as nickel) or blue. Blue bolts are very common and usually have to be priced pretty low to sell. The manufacturer mark on the end of the bolt is also important. If you have a Remington ("R") or an Auto-Ordnance ("A.O.C.") marked bolt it will be much more desirable. I suggest you post a few pictures.

In my opinion to sell the bolt quickly you're looking at $100.

If you add up the parts - the bolt body, extractor, firing pin and spring,

hammer and pin - the $140 price is about right but it's not a "deal"

and would probably not attract any buyers.

However, as I have said before, the value of something at any

given time is what somebody is willing to pay for it.

My $0.02
