Yeah, they do look like very nice guns, and the prices you paid seem quite reasonable. You should be very proud of your purchases and very happy with the prices you paid, especially considering that lesser guns have been going for much more than what you paid.

Thanks so much for sharing your buying experience with us. It's very helpful for any of us comtemplating additional purchases.

Rob:

Congrats, You did well on price and have some nice guns to start your Thompson collection out with. You are really going to enjoy taking them out and playing with them. They are superb weapons and pieces of history.

Rob,

I've been admiring your babies. Congrats on your purchases. I wish my bidder would have dug the wax out of his ears and then maybe I would have had at least one too!

Oh, if you get your gut full of ribbing about the "goldfinger"--I'll take it off your hands! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif

The past, temporary, caretakers of those guns obviously loved them and took very good care of them. I particularly like the appearance of the wood on all three guns. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif Great buys, everyone! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif Congratulations Robert!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif Regards, Walter
