He might have one decoration, military records are notorous for errors, ommissions, and BS. I don't doubt that he has something, but to me he sounds like a good old fashioned "PX Hero". I served with the U.S. Navy's River Assault Flotilla ONE in Vietnam in 1968 and I can tell you that the men I served with would be embarrassed to request and would not accept a Purple Heart for such superficial wounds! We knew that good men lost limbs or their lives to earn their Purple Hearts and we would not demean the medal in the way Kerry has done. He's nothing more than a self-centered opportunist, and apparently has been since before his four month and twelve day tour of Vietnam. The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach!
