Orion
Need some help with the 2 cases below, the one is marked with Lewis 303 MG MK1 would this be for carrying the gun and accessories or just some kind of tool kit for the gun? I'm not sure about the shorter darker green one it has not markings.Any idea's on the value of each item. Thanks, Andy Edited September 10, 2016 by Orion
dalbert
The green one is a Bren bag. It's made to hold a spare barrel, and other spare parts and support items. I had one once that I purchased as a Sten bag, but that was not correct, and a Sten will not fit. David Albertdalbert@sturmgewehr.com
DougStump
If you're interested in parting with the Lewis case, let me know. I've got a Mk1 that's naked.
johnsonlmg41
It's not a case for the lewis, but referred to as the holdall and is for a barrel, spares and a rod. It will not hold the gun. If I recall they were Australian? I've had one for a while and don't recall the specifics, but I'm sure more info is on the web. m3bobby
The Lewis hold-all is British and made by the Mills Equipment company.
