Makes their threads to original spec. I'd jump on that one if the condition is to your liking. Also the sight blade on the new AO ones are incorrect. They're about 1/8" taller. gunhistorian Posted May 31, 2015 Report Share Posted May 31, 2015 Just a minor bit of trivia not related (entirely) to the subject, but I wanted to mention that when INTERARMCO (subsequently INTERARMS) imported Swedish Mausers -- or Argentine Mausers -- (the ones with the Mannlicher-Schoner ? type stocks)the barrels were about a quarter inch too short and would have had to have been sold as SBRs requiring the $200 tax stamp. INTERARMS simply welded a ring onto the muzzle to bring the barrel to the proper length. Forgot where I picked up this tidbit, but apparently the welding process did not harm the barrel.
