Oldtrooper
The cosmetic rebuild of my OOW 1918A3 is coming along nicely ... Next is to fabricate a 1918 flash hider from a scrap piece of chrome-moly steel from a scrap barrel blank ... Then a blue job to finish it. I'm pretty pleased with it so far.
anticus
That is a beautiful job. Did you fab the rear sight ? I understand the parts are difficult to source and pricey.

Probably a winter project after we finish our customer builds for hunting season.I purchased the 1918 rear sight from Ohio Ordnance, and yes it was quite expensive. You just need to call them to see what they have available.
emmagee1917
Are you going to turn the barrel to WW1 specs before you blue it or do you have an original ? Looks nice .Chris

Using a scrap barrel blank would save time from making one from scratch ... I guess we will see.
