bennyb
Hello all, I am a first time user and had a quick question regarding pfc shells. How frequently should you clean them? After every firing or can you go a couple rounds? what is a good cleaner? Thanks
mp40
Hi Bennyb, welcome to the boards! you should clean the cartridges after every firing, due to the residue of the red phosphorus, this stuff builds up rapidly and causes drag on the "piston" causing missfires etc. i use a mixture of hot water, vinegar and baking soda be prepared for the mixture to "foam-up" when the baking soda is added though http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/ohmy.gif this mixture works well for me.
