billie32 Posted October 7, 2003 Report Share Posted October 7, 2003 Have just come across 3 MP40 magazines in an early 41 dated Luftwaffe pouch, one is for the MGC replicas, one is a bte 41 marked WWII mag, and the third is completely unmarked, and is of a different construction then any of the WWII magazines I have seen. It is obviously stamped construction, and the seam along the back is tack welded together. There is one hole on the right side a third of the way up from the bottom to let you know how many cartridges are left. As I said, it is completely unmarked. It appears to be old, definately WWII or just after vintage, however, I am unsure as to what it is. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Sincerely, George R. (that of course was marketed in 45 or 46.) it was not really a success due to all of the surplus submachine guns being available at the time. so the magazines are rarely seen.
