DougStump
I was just given these two beauties, I'm helping my best friend's widow fix up her house up so she can sell it. We did argue a bit, I wanted to buy them, but she refused to take any money. I lost the argument. They will be right at home with the FN High-power my Dad brought back from WWII. Not shown are two different British military holsters (P-37) for the pistols and one spare Inglis mag.

jim c 351
Doug,Sorry about your friend, they are so hard to find. Very nice pistols. I have never fired a P35 with shoulder stock. Seems like the slide charging toward your eye would be a little distracting. Are the J Inglis pistols? Jim C
DougStump
Jim, Yes, both are Inglis (Canadian, Eh). Walt and I went to a gun show almost 30 years ago and found the stocked pistol, neither one of us had sufficient cash to get it, so we discussed who would loan whom the required money. I let Walt get it, the next day we had it out to the range and were shooting it at 400 yards, off the benchrest with the stock! About half of the slugs pinged off the steel rams! (I wonder how badly we scratched the paint?) You should have seen the "hunters" shaking their heads in disbelief. Ya know, the guys that can sometimes scare a three foot piece of cardboard at 100 yards with a scoped rifle. Kinda humiliating! "Pow.....ping" I don't remember any concern about the slide coming back at us. Walt and I go back to late 1992. Last year he developed some strange health issues they thought might be liver relates, but was finally diagnosed with B Cell Lymphoma. In a month he went from teaching Taekwondo to a hospital bed. He got the first dose of Chemo, but too late. Doug
