pitfighter
Hi Guys, I am looking for a really nice way to stow the M1and some box magazines - it obviously doesn't have the quick detach-stock, so would disassemble via stripping the upper from lower. Does the blue velvet lined FBI case and it's numerous reproductions fit an M1? If not is there a comparable case made for an M1 - ? I have been scanning and looking. Thanks! ron_brock
It would be cool to make a hard case like the Federal Laboratories cases that were offered for the Reising Ron
pitfighter
That sounds about perfect. Would be great to find a company or individual who makes these, or a second hand one, someone may have knocking around. Don't want to get too involved in bespoke woodworking, as it's not really my area. Has anyone tried to fit an M1 in the FBI case - presuming it's a no go? pitfighter
Thank you, sir, that is EXACTLY what I am looking for. After a better search here I found more examples of his work and he seems the like the man for the job. I just contacted him through the message system here - he is 1921A correct? First Sergeant
Greg's cases are Top of the Line !! He made a Indiana case for me a couple of years ago. I rather like that case for the M1A!. I too am unsure on the wood but it's classy.

pitfighter
Those are both very sweet set-ups, Dillinger and Tray - ! I am going with Greg's deluxe set-up, as it works for the application this intended - the requirements are somewhat specific. Thanks for the eye-candy!
