TSMG28 Posted August 9, 2004 Report Share Posted August 9, 2004 Pat, The serial number will help confirm things, but I seriously doubt the gun itself is FBI. To the best of my knowledge, no FBI guns have ever been registered, so they are not transferable. The accessories certainly could be former FBI. All FBI guns were Model of 1928 (overstamp) Colts. I don't know if they all had comps, but the ones that I have seen all did have the comps. Also make certain to note the serial number and markings on the drum. Again, I don't think the FBI purchased many/any C-drums, so it could be a West Hurley. If it is a Colt C-drum, it is one of a very limited number and typically very pricey.
