savingmypesos
Hi All, I need to buy a 1980's 50 round West Hurley drum. Merle is going to modify it to run in my M1A1 and he tells me not to even try the new drums. If you have a drum you are willing to part with, email with the details, price and any photos you may have. Thanks, Jim
SecondAmend
Mr. Pesos, Though I am personally not in favor of the modification you are undertaking (for reasons I have previously stated and then was villified for expressing), I do accept your right to do as you choose and in support of your task I note that the "new" (Feb, '05 and newer) Kahr 50 round drums are said to be far better than the first set of ban-expired drums. Does anyone have first-hand experience to indicate that the "new " Kakr drums may be suitable for for the desired modifications?
Steave
Jim, If you're interested in a drum already converted drop me an email, steave@flash.net I have one that was converted by the long defunct Gunmachines company that I would sell. I've had several of these over the years and they all seem to run well, one of the few things Gunmachines got right.
