21 smoker
I was deeply saddened to learn that a real American WWII hero passed away May 15,Col. Robert Morgan...pilot of the `Memphis Belle` B17...I had the honor of meeting Col.Morgan just 5 weeks ago at Macdill Airfest and I will never forget that chance encounter...farwell and rest in peace. Norm
That is sad. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif The Memphis Belle resides only a few miles from my house. We (Memphis) are lucky to have this great reminder of WW2 was right here in our own town.
full auto 45
I read that in the paper this morning. Sad day in for US history. That's why if you meet a WWII hero/Vet, shake their hand.
