Robert Henley
Pretty neat package: https://silencerco.com/summit/tommy-gun/?utm_source=MASTER&utm_campaign=7371a88ece-EMAIL_CAMPAIGN_2017_12_12&utm_medium=email&utm_term=0_19a6bef23c-7371a88ece-315387341&goal=0_19a6bef23c-7371a88ece-315387341&mc_cid=7371a88ece&mc_eid=ec3550893a
prozach
They'd probably have better luck just selling the threaded barrel (and modified front sight, if needed) rather than a 2-stamp package. Wonder why they went with 5/8×24 threads though instead of .578×28. Also, missed opportunity to have a thread protector that looks like a compensator. Paladin601
why not just permanently mount the suppressor on the barrel and just have to get 1 stamp
mike in pa
why not just permanently mount the suppressor on the barrel and just have to get 1 stamp Well maybe people like myself have a M1 SBR and a 28 Westie MG that already have a stamp. jojeep
Years ago I saw a Suppressor and Barrel system.First the gun was set up for a Quick Disconnect Barrel System. They took the Semi 16inch M1 Barrel and turned it down on a Lathe, then it was put on something I think was called an Indexing Machine to drill holes down the sides, top and bottom. An Aluminum Can(2.5-3 inch dia) was used almost the whole length of the Barrel.I don't remember the internalsThe Vertical Grip mounting bar was altered so a Vertical Grip would sit under the Suppressor. But because of the Quick Disconnect Barrel System,..for regular shooting you could Swap it out for a standard Barrel.
