There is a really interesting technical analysis at the beginning which disputes the assertion that the STEN operates on advanced primer ignition (API), the author goes into why he believes the STEN is pure blow back rather than API. There is some hideously complex mathematics which will be above most people pay grade. Despite this if you are interested in sub-machinegun design or just like the STEN, this is well worth finding a place on your library shelf. I got my copy through Amazon.
