dutch
I have had TWO of Dave's kits now for several months testing in both a 27A1 and an M1. They work flawlessly. As Lionhart says, they seem to be smoother than the original and you can cock with two fingers. VAST improvement. I had installed the longer cocking piece on the M1 so I could get a grip. Now the original short piece ( and more authentic) is back in place. ENJOY!!!! Dave Janowski
Hey Dutch can you post a few pictures of that new BABY of yours? I am SURE everyone on this board will love her as much as you do! Dave Janowski
Guys I want to STRESS that these WERE NOT tested in any other guns than steel construction, I would not suggest these in the 27A5 pistol or the aluminum or alloy construction guns Just letting everyone know Hope you all enjoy them Dave
Merry Ploughboy
Dave J., I do not have one, but IIRC there were some 27A1s made in 10 mm. Assuming my recollection is correct, are we likewise to apply your caveat to the 10 mm 27a1s? Thanks. MP

Grey Crow
Range Report: Gun functioned flawlessly! Bolt pull is easy, much easier than with the stock springs. Had a few flashes from the ejection port, but not with every round. I was snowing, but better than tomorrows forecast for a high of 15. I fired 100 rounds picked up most of my brass and came home to clean, oil and put her away till warmer weather. Or the indoor range opens down the street. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif One thing for sure Winchester ammo is filthy compared to Wolf. Wolf tends to be a little hard on the gun though, especially the extractor.
Sgt
Jack-- Thanks for the report. That sounds fantastic! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/biggrin.gif
M1tommygun
Man-o-man, I am definitely going to have to get one for my M1. I have been leaving it in my gun safe with its bolt drawn back in hopes it will loose some of its tension. With this kit that will not be necessary any more. I may even get a chance to finally shoot it after having for almost a year and a half. I just hope there will be some kits left after the first of the year.
