JimFromFL
Why do I think it is an aftermarket actuator?1 - No markings2 - almost appears to be a seam3 - the checkering/knurling on the knob looks done by hand.
TSMGguy
Right, it ppears to be cast rather than milled from a forging.
villafuego
Looks very similar to a West Hurley actuator...…...but I've never seen one with the knurling that rough...... I purchased a box of TSMG parts at a local gun show a few years ago that had 2 of those in it......neither would even fit in my gun.....

villafuego
I ended up selling them to a guy over at weaponsguild who was building a few semi autos from parts kits......and didn't want to cut up/modify a good Savage or AOC actuator to work with his closed-bolt setup
anjong-ni
MGC actuator?...Phil
jojeep
I have seen the Checkering before about 20 years ago I purchased I think off Ebay a 1921 Style Actuator, same crappy Checkering. I still have somewhere, never used it to shoot, but had a Friend with a Milling Machine cut a Military Actuator down to the same thickness as the Ebay one. BillyDixon
looks like an after market casting. never correctly finished or polished, the casting parting lines in the metal are a giveaway, possibly a reject part somebody picked out of scrap bin and took home as a souviner, does it fit in a gun ? the knurling looks like someone tried to knurl with a hand knurling tool in a vice, just sayn
