Shane
I picked up my W.H. 28 a couple of hours ago. It has the highest serial # I have ever seen on a W.H.(11831A). I has a W.H. rear sight, alum fore-grip mnt.,steel butt-stock slide, all G.I. internals (S) marked, milled selectors. It needs to be refinished, but no pitting. I do not know how to post pictures. cavediver
I hope you enjoy the WH. I have my WH that I sold and bought back and it runs great. The cool thing is you can shoot the Wh and not worry so much about the collectors value and it is as much to rock-n-roll with a WH as it would be a Colt. It is also fun to see the look on someones face to shoot a Thompson for the first time. So go have fun and spread the Thompson plague.

Shane
My new 28 runs good. All internal parts are Savage, today my friend removed the barrel (yes he has the proper tools/jigs to do it correctly) to replace the alum grip mount with a late war rivet type made by Savage. I am going to have the gun re-blued. This gun will be for sale in @ 6 weeks to fund a pre-86 BAR. Thanks LSU Tiger for posting the picture for me.
