Got back late yesterday, so started a discussion on what type of "Basic" NFA shooting collection would one get for $100K if starting over today, and got the following results:

Summary as of 14 postings with lists (counting one M16 only and ring for the wife)

Asking the same question here would expect to get an answer of either all Thomsons or since is a shooting collection (i.e. leave out the 99.9% Colts for everyday range guns):
