Colt Chopper Posted July 1, 2015 Report Share Posted July 1, 2015 Was an auction this last Saturday in Evansville, IN with Full Auto 45, the rope and noose used to hang Charlie Birger, southern Illinois gangster, sold for a whopping $14k !!!!! Including a letter from the county sheriff, a museum that owned it once and family members. The auction included the rope, and a black hood with the documents. The guy that last bid $13000 was pissed when he got out bid. When they said "sold!" the guy just got up and walked out, his wife looked shocked and followed. It was a fun day driving to Evansville with Chopper. And we saw the Blue Angels and the Canadian Snowbirds aerial team.Fourteen Thousand dollars!
