UD-M42 and accessories.

Recommended Posts

My UD-M42, it is not in mint condition but I was very lucky to find one at all, they are hard to find on this side of the pond. My best guess as to it´s provenance would be that it was supplied either to a French or a Belgian "Résistance" movement. The sling is a Kerr for the Thompson SMG.

Four cell pouch four single magazines. All four mags were made by UD supplies. I have found no markings whatsoever on the pouch.

Pouch for one double magazine. There are no markings whatsoever on the magazine assembly. It seems to have been repainted post-war. Probably a blotched try to restore it.

I do not know more.... it came from a Belgian collector but I do not know where he got it from.

Wow! Nice score. Do you know the history? Tell us more?

My best guess would be that it was supplied to either French or Belgian "Résistance" fighters.

Many UD-M42 were issued during WWII to OSS agents operating in occupied Europe. I wonder if you have one?
