Well some points here

I'm the source,  I am able to speak a bit better than others on this

as Huggy mentioned, it don't match his TSMg bbl on the mid section

still he feels it's gotta be Thompson.

I'm cool with all that, mailed it out no money down on approval.

Now it gets fun

Gordon Ingram did his best to reduce manufacturing costs

that included repurposing TSMg barrels as production blanks

yeah you never know what to expect on M6 guns

let's think about this some

very few M6's

maybe it was done to repair a demil huh ?

thing is the root of this barrel assm was a County PD in the late 80s, I gave the kit to a relative who passed maybe 6 years ago

it's not idiot "bubba" work and Huggy never stated that.

I mean really, is that midsection M6 or TSMg

a marking on the front site is mostly meaningless

Huggy, just mail it all back with zero hard feelings here.

Does the mounting plate on the barrel match up to your M6 ??

it does....someone made a thompson barrel work on a M6....its interesting how they did it.....i thought i might have some odd thompson variant barrel, but the quality of the middle resting bar part that was added was not up to the quality it would have been it were AOC

at a glance the 2 barrels are very similar and im sure someone with a dewat or bulged barrel had a great time with the thompson barrek on his m6. i doubt most would even notice w/o a comparison
