giantpanda4
Evilbay has investment cast actuators out there again. If I remember right, these were made by Sarco a while back. Someone at the TCA show last year had a display with one of these, stating that these are JUNK! What is the story about them? I know one of us here is bidding on them.... http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...TRK%3AMEWA%3AIT
Chopper28
Cast actuators are a piece of S#%T. Don't waste your money they will not hold up. Spend a little extra and get the real thing. Why would anyone try to save a little money on such a vital part in such an expensive gun? Just my .
PK.
There isn’t enough detail in the photo to tell for sure, but the only cast actuators I know of were those made by AO WH for use in the guns that they produced. Generally, they should be replace with a GI ’28 part for good function, as they tend to bend or break in the thin area above the slot for the lock. If the lock slot is in good shape, they can be successfully modified to ‘21 configuration and seem to function quite well in this capacity, having less mass to excerpt stress.
