huggytree
i think i see silver around the top of the barrel(its a lanchester, so dont get mixed up with the mag well being on the left side)...also on the face of the barrel i think i see slag and pits??(or its just carbon build up) owner says its all original, not dewat opinions? i assume all older ww2 guns are dewats until proven innocent....not sure what im seeing or if im seeing something that isnt there my beretta 38/44 was sold to me as NOT a dewat...as soon as i cleaned the gun all the gunk came off and nice fresh silver around the barrel appeared....trying not to go there again...at least not without knowing ahead of time Edited January 29, 2019 by huggytree
APEXgunparts
Are you able to remove the barrel, or has time made it a permanent fixture? Lanchester's are very interesting and served in the Royal Navy for a very long time.Richard
huggytree
its one im looking at...got a clean close up pic of the barrel...it appears the surface of the barrel is good..that was just carbon build up deciding on jumping on the gun or to wait for another....
