Reenactor
Spent a day sniffing cordite in Texas before my son heads off to France for 4 months. Our friend was pleased to offer his hay bales as a sacrifice to the Thompson gods. http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/eACollection2005.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/eArthurThompsc.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/eArthurAlexThompsd.jpg http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y24/reenactor1/eArthurAlexThompsc.jpg

The1930sRust
Ah, a fine time! Still, given the choice of spending 4 months in France, I'd rather have been one of the hay bales...;-)
JimFromFL
Looks like someone may be spending the next 2 weeks cleaning. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif
full auto 45
Looks awful close to that hay bale. Better put a little distance in there...like at the fifty yard range.
Reenactor
We stack two of these "super bales" end to end, and when anything gets looking too ratty, they are burned and replaced with two new ones. If we stood any further away, the backstop may not be large enough. Gets pretty exciting when your host wants to hip shoot, you know.
