bmarvin
Recently 1200-1500 Ohio National Guard 870's were released. The break down was 1/3 top folders and 2/3 fixed stocks. Here's my fixed stock version. My folder will arrive next week. All the guns sold out in 5 hours. Fixed stocks were $229 and folders were $239. These are now hitting Gunbroker and selling for $800-$1400
StrangeRanger
$800-$1400 is roughly twice the street price for an equivalently equipped "civilian" 870. Does their provenance really make them worth anything like that much of an increase? I just can't see it.
bmarvin
The bayonet lug and associate swivel on the folder make up the bulk of the value. The laser engraved Ohio National Guard doesn't add too much. These will end up like the M45A1 USMC pistols that sold a year or so ago. They started under $2000 and now command $5000+
jim c 351
I wonder what they were replaced with. Hard to beat an 870. Not likely they failed the NG in service. Guess the ONG just had some money to waste.Jim C
StrangeRanger
If I had to guess, I'd say the Benelli M4/M1014. It has made huge inroads in the M&P shotgun market.

dalbert
My brother saw the sale, and texted me about it, and I tried to buy one, but was too late... David Albertdalbert@sturmgewehr.com

jl7422
Very nice. I've had my eye out for a decent Model 10 riot for awhile now. Missed a "bankers association" marked one years ago and have been kicking myself ever since.
