New Reising

I think I've completed the set (for the most part), the 50,55, 65 and now this pistol? I think I'll take the second model 50, set the switch to semi and pretend it's a 60? Hard to justify the pricing on model 60's IMO? Condition is pretty nice and is original from what I can tell, but I have not seen a strawed hammer before (I've only seen one other in person, other than pics on the web)? The seller had been dragging this to shows for a couple years and I think I'm probably the only one who ever had any interest? I did ask if he had a spare mag......LOL.

johnsonlmg41,

Congratulations on your Reising pistol acquisition. The hammers are strawed. Rule #1 with these pistols is to only fire standard velocity ammunition. Yours appears to be in very good condition, and is one of the later pistols, made by the Reising Manufacturing Corp. sometime between 1924 and 1925.

Thanks David. Not a lot of good photos on the net and what I did see did not look strawed?

N64atlas, I don't think I'm going to go any further down the Reising rabbit hole.......too many .22's here already! And I can't bear to spend all the money on spare mags for all of them! Those are pricey for what you get. The holster would be a cool accessory to have. I'll have to start looking.
