Haenelistklasse
I was just wondering if anyone has done a Form 5320.20 and how long it took to get back from the head office in DC? The last one I did a year and a half ago and that took 21 days mailbox to mailbox.
ron_brock
I did one this past summer, it was quick, less than a month if I recall Ron
inertord
5320.20 can also be faxed or scanned and emailed to save some shipping time: The registered owner of NFA firearm(s) shall complete two copies of ATF Form 5320.20 and forward the forms to the Director, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, 244 Needy Road, Martinsburg, WV 25405 (Attention: NFA Branch). The form can be submitted via facsimile to the NFA Branch at (304) 616-4501 or may be scanned and emailed to NFAFax@atf.gov.

ron_brock
I like that I can travel with my C&R machine gun but have to ask permission to travel with my non-C&R machine gun. Gubbmemt make no sense Ron
First Sergeant
Being the Government I have to ask.......Do they want "two copies" faxed? I've always mailed mine but am about to submit multiple forms of the non C&R guns for 2020. I used the Credit card option on two recent Form 4's for the first time. That was a mistake as my CC company approved one $200 transaction and declined the second; thinking it was 'suspicious.' Government solution was to send the second Form 4 paperwork back to the seller. Never again !!!
