Bisley45 Posted October 20, 2003 Report Share Posted October 20, 2003 I have a winged M1A1 rear sight, parkerized, sitting in my box awaiting Mr. Richardsons return from his latest trip south, I'm building up a Savage gun. If anyone has a Savage / Stevens marked sight and wants an AOC sight please contact me. Bisley45@hotmail.com Also have some other AOC marked internals I'd like to swap for Savage / Stevens componets. gijive Posted October 20, 2003 Report Share Posted October 20, 2003 If I remember reading correctly in Frank's book, I don't believe Savage/Stevens made the protected rear sight. I believe he states that AOC made them and a company with a manufacturing code of "J". Many of them had no manufacturing code on them. An AOC marked rear sight would be correct for your gun.
