form 4 individuals seem to be in november

form 4 trust--stuck in July

the nfa tracker graph appears that a form 4 trust has not been approved in weeks...i have not seen that graph move...while the individual one is going down like a rocket

ive got a suppressor from early Dec.....im almost excited.....that is if the trust would move a day let alone months like the individual one is doing

we are past mid july 2016.....i dont get why its not moving...if obama was still president id think something was up it seems so odd

Just got an approved Form 4 back. Submitted 25 Jan 17 approved 28 August 17. Seven Months. C&R to C&R. Now to box it up and ship it to the new owner, who is also a (happy) forum member. Straight from me to the new buyer, across state lines. Still don't know why more Folks don't go this route.

Cheers,

i think i only own 2 guns that are C&R(Thompson and Ingram m6)....Mac's,Uzi's, M16's, Stemple's Ac556's, aren't C&R are they?

i considered a C&R at one time...i think when i was considering buying one of your guns...but since i dont buy many WW2 guns i dont think most qualify (or am i wrong?)

ive got a Sterling coming...but its a brand new build......if you only buy WW2 guns it makes a lot of sense....many of my guns are 1984-1986

The Examiner's work loads are just crazy. I worked for the Government for 32yrs and we never had enough people to keep up with the work load we had.

So I feel for the men and women that come in to that every day. When I call them (ATF) to check on status of a transfer, I make sure I let them know how much I appreciate what they do. It's funny how that breaks the ice when talking to them. They seem to appreciate that.

that 0 of their suppressor form 4 trusts got approved in 1 month...0!.....then suddenly it skipped 2-3 months and 1 got approved

they are a larger shop that mainly does transfers...they dont stock guns...they fix guns, but mainly just do internet transfers all day long...so they have a lot of suppressors as they are the lowest price on transfers in the area

look at the nfa tracker chart?...it says the exact same thing....form 4 trusts just stopped at July...hasnt budged now in 3 weeks that i can see

i did a NFA tracker look see today---suddenly form 4 trusts have a few more marks....shows the graph going down a bit...there's at least a pattern emerging like i had hoped to see....maybe everyone took a 3 week vacation at the atf?...

ive sent in 2 more form 4's this month.......maybe ill have them by the end of Spring next year vs end of summer

Likely because after the july date passed any trusts and corps have a lot more vetting and many more errors since the paperwork is about triple that of an individual doing a straight form 4. I've submitted some since then without the RP form since it "should" be in the system from an earlier one? I expect problems with them finding it and an error note. Bottom line, expect entity transfers to take substantially longer with additional problems to be corrected. I also did a couple forms in WI, with some additional issues expected there. It will for sure be a mess, but the examiners and counsel have to learn somehow and since I'm in no hurry I'll be the test dummy.

What "shop" did you use? Done with Fletcher's?

no i use Fletchers for FA exclusively...ive even over paid for suppressors from them.....The owners are great people, their employees are knowledgeable.....they have done extra's for me for free.....i transfer my normal guns through the WI Tactical because of price (they are also nice guys).....with FA its not all about $$...i want my investments in the safest hands for the 12 month wait.......i asked if anyone else uses them for FA..Nope...im it....I would recommend them now.......they went through a learning curve with me on the first 1 (or 2), but now its a form 4 assembly line for me and them

i am not sure the Waukesha Sheriff is signing off on FA anymore.....just a warning to anyone local to me....his last signoff letter took 3x longer and the detective said he was not signing off anymore...but after a bit of back and forth the detective said he would put it on his desk.......i asked for clarification on what this meant and never got it.....it was most likely my last NFA item or i will be in Divorce court

I don't have much of a vested interest anymore for transfers in WI at this point, but I am annoyed with how absolutely lazy the C3 community is/has been so I have a letter into the AG regarding the issues with the whole statute. One way or another I'd expect something to happen. I had hoped a MG dealer would take the reins, but since the only one is about retired there really are no MG dealers in WI so maybe I had false expectations? If the Wauk. sheriff does not sign, please let me know as that was major point in my correspondence. I'm sort of expecting a reply in the next 45 days.

Never been to wi tact. I think I walked into fletchers a year or two ago and walked back out. Didn't see much more than when John owned it except a handful of cans in the glass, but nothing I would be interested in.

Last NFA item........LOL.

I'm not buying any more either......the whole rest of the month!
