1917 Cut-A-Way Parts?

Recommended Posts

Have an M2 .50 cutaway and have seen several of these. Cutaway BMGs require registration to be legal unless missing the right plate.

As far as I recall from many years of MG involvement, only one 1917a1 cutaway is around, correctly registered. As for a1917,and I assume you are asking about a BMG, I’ve never heard of one in private hands. Never say never, but if one’s out there, it is a well guarded secret.

I sold the Westinghouse 1917 years ago but I kept several pieces of a cut-a-way 1917 including a complete feed cover assembly, bolt assembly and pistol grip assembly - all original cut-a-way parts. Edited by 1921A
