http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/mad.gif At midnight, 13 Sep 04, I waited on line, refreshing Kahrs web site, till the page changed to announce that 50 rd drums were available......I ordered two at 5 min past midnight..... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/dry.gif

Six weeks, a couple of pleading emails later, the first drum is delivered Fedex today.........I call and ask where the other one is, and was told that the demand was such, that all orders would get one drum first, then the others would follow..... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif

I played with it tonight & it seems pretty sturdy. I'll test it tomorrow. All I have before this one is two w/HURLEY(hey,that's my name!) 39ers, one 30 rd, & one 45 rd drum, these last two, converted from 10rd ones. So it is a step up for me.

Any one else get a End Of Ban Kahr 50 rd Drum yet ?..... http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wacko.gif

Thompson Crazy,

Not sure if my LE marked drum is Kahr or not but I bought if several months ago for $200 from a dealer down South. It ran just fine but the rails needed some serious tweaking. They were next to impossible to insert into the gun. Once fixed, it was fine but still tight. My original old XL drum was/is much smoother to insert but nothing close to a Colt or WWII dcrum.

I attempted to purchase a LEO 50 rnd drum a couple of years ago. I patiently repeated to several of them at Kahr that as my birthday is August 1st which is clearly between July 23rd and August 22nd I was permitted to purchase and own a LEO drum. I even offered to send a copy of my driver's license and birth certificate and passport. They refused anyway.
