Colt Thompson Manual and Envelope

Got this from a friend a few days ago. I have seen the manuals before but the envelope was even more interesting. Im not much of a Colt collector just wondering how rare the envelope is?

Pretty rare! They normally didn't survive. There is also a folded instruction sheet that came in the envelope and was sent with every gun. The envelope is on pretty good shape for its age. Nice find, are you considering selling or keeping?

The Instruction Sheet envelopes came with several different addresses including 302 Broadway and 31 Nassau Street. Your 51 Pine Street address envelope is nice. As gijive stated, these envelopes have a low survival rate. There may have some printing on the backside of the envelope. A very nice addition to any paper collection.

 

The 4th Edition catalogs come in 3 variations. Let me know if your interested in completing the set as I may have a few extras. I also have an extra AOC Instruction Sheet.
