I'd love to know the S/N and provenance of the gun that the kit came from. Every part in the kit says late manufacture (i.e. "military") but it's blued which usually means an earlier "commercial" gun. That combination points to a "transitional" gun; the original S/N would tell. Picture #13 shows a number 5 stamped into the right side of the stock and Picture #17 shows something metal(?) in the left side. The former may be a rack number, the latter????
