aut-ord-co
Roland & David, Mailed it earlier in the year because of another event. Basically, mailed 10 Feb 05 -- returned 27 Mar 05.
bt3_guns
No luck here either. Sent the .20 out in Feb and don't have it back. Called the NFA Branch and they said that it was mailed back in March. Never got it from them. Now I have to resubmit and lean on them to get it back by August! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/sad.gif Bill Troy

full auto 45
I have a C&R but that won't work for my WH 1928. I still have to have it for that. And just for shits and giggles, I put the M1 on there as well. It's that double coverage thing. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/wink.gif
Roland, Headless Thompson Gunner
Well let's hope that Full Auto 45 and his calendar babe were distracting the ATF and my form will be in the mail right behind his. I hope to have my AO M1 by August but know that is just dreaming. I take it that a C&R Thompson owned by a C&R holder is exempt from this 5320.20 paperwork? JimFromFL
I was going to send mine in but then remembered I have a C&R. http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif
full auto 45
Only the WH M1's are on the list, correct? And the WH commemorative guns, but not the regular 1928's.
PATHFINDER
QUOTE (full auto 45 @ Jun 9 2005, 08:09 AM) Only the WH M1's are on the list, - and the WH commemorative guns, but not the regular 1928's. That is correct Sir. QUOTE (Roland @ Headless Thompson Gunner, June 9, 08:46 PM) I take it that a C&R Thompson owned by a C&R holder is exempt from this 5320.20 paperwork? This is also correct. dalbert
Got my approved 5320.20 form back from ATF today. Can't wait to meet all of you at the show and shoot in August. Does anyone know what the course of fire is for the shoot? I have heard there is a competition, and am interested in finding out more details. Thanks! full auto 45
50yrds semi auto, 20 rounds 20 secs. 25yrds, FA, 20 rounds, 20 secs. 25yrds, FA, 20 rounds 15secs. 15 yrds, FA, 20 rounds, 10 secs. 21ft, FA, 20 rounds, 4 secs. total 100 rounds I may be off on a couple, but I think that's about right. Then there is the pepper popper shoot off. That's a 5 steel target, one on one shoot. 30 rounds per go.
dalbert
Mike, Thanks for the info! If I'm lucky, I can get out to the range to practice once before I make the 1200 mile road trip. Thanks again! David
Roland, Headless Thompson Gunner
Called the ATF this morning. My 5320.20 submitted April 4th went pending on May 27. I have a voice mail into the examiner Kendra Tate. We'll see if I get a callback. When the girl told me it went pending May 27 she was basically saying its only been a month! Roland, Headless Thompson Gunner
Once again it shows that it doesn't hurt to call. Examiner Kendra Tate returned my voice mail after 3 days and said she hoped to get to the 5320.20s next week and to call her if I didn't get it back by the 9th of July. It showed up today, signed off on 30 June. I now have a new transfer before the ATF. I will be calling them fairly regularly. Now to the range to get in shape for Ohio.
