Receiver Back From Pk!

Just unwrapped my 1928 receiver after a trip to PK's to have the compensator pinned and the rear sight base replaced. I realize that this was a fairly pedestrian project for a man of PK's abilities, but I am excited nonetheless at the prospect of not having to use loctite and teflon tape to keep the front sight vertical.

 

Secondly, I offer my experience to those, like me, who have been reluctant to send their "baby" away for a makeover.

 

1. Paul patiently answered all of my questions, both on the phone and via email on several occasions before I finally made up my mind to ship it out.

 

2, He eased me through my separation anxiety when, after a week in transit, I called him ranting about the USPS not having delivered my receiver to him. He emailed me later that day to let me know it arrived shortly after my call.

 

3. The work was completed exactly when promised and looks terrific.

 

I could not have asked for a better experience and it was a great pleasure to do business with a real gentleman.
