I discovered a Thompson lower frame in my parts box that I can't identify.  Parked, with the fire selector markings AUTOMATIC and SEMI-AUTOMATIC (in 2 lines).  Safety the usual FIRE and SAFE.  What model Thompson was this used on?

The early Model 1921 frames were marked as you describe.

Serial number is 2685.  I can post pics but I'm away from home for a few days, and I'll post when I return.

I found this in a box of parts that has been under by bench for a long time.  I have a 21/28 Navy overstamp with a WWII Savage frame on it.  I thought I had acquired this frame a number of years ago with the intention of replacing the Savage frame but just never got around to it.  Now that I'm sure what I've got I'll go ahead and make the switch.  I appreciate the feedback guys.

I'll have to dig it pout of the back of the safe and see.  Take a day or so to get around to it.
