Colt Chopper
Very early picture, notice the canvas case has no provision for a butt stock.
Taliaferro
Interesting photo from 1920 judging from the license plate. This case has not been seen in real life. This is a. Model 1919 case. So no butt stock pouch needed. Also notice the mag pouch is closed by two snaps instead of the normal single strapped snap. Tracie
Merry Ploughboy
Very early picture, notice the canvas case has no provision for a butt stock. More or less a canvas shoulder holster.

Roland the Thompsongunner
Was bidding on the Pa State Police case and drum pouch but the auction ended. Would have liked to have gotten them my dad was a trooper and loved the thompsons they had.
Colt Chopper
I'm not a bonafide canvas collector, but thought this one was special, for lack of the the stock pouch. It is Mills marked.
TD.
Very nice Colt Chopper. I am pretty sure Tracie Hill has one of the 21A MILLS canvas cases without the butt stock pouch. These are not common. I wonder how many survived. Anyone else have one?

darrylta
Roland,Your right, the auction ended due to eBay's no gun policy?? I contacted the seller and informed her that I was disappointed that the auctionhad ended. So we set up a deal that she would list them again with a buy it now option.I had to be quick to purchase them before they were taken down by Ebay again. Worked out pretty nice, it turned out to be a widow selling off her husband's collection. All of the Colt era items are sold now, she still has a lot of WWII stuff available. A verynice seller!Darryl
firearm
Very nice Colt Chopper. I am pretty sure Tracie Hill has one of the 21A MILLS canvas cases without the butt stock pouch. These are not common. I wonder how many survived. Anyone else have one?I found this one in the vault. Carry case, no stock provision. Has a few "strawberries", but not bad for a 100 year old piece of canvas.

anjong-ni
I believe that the car is a "Chandler". That would be a rarity all by itself...Phil https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chandler_Motor_Car Edited January 18, 2020 by anjong-ni
