I suggest you spend a little time watching FOX national news.

You would soon learn that the President is under constant attack from the democrats in the house who are trying to impeach him.

In his spare time he is trying to run the country.

The dems would be happy to pass any anti gun bill, but no pro gun bill.

IF President Trump is re-elected ,and IF the republicans take control of the house, then you might consider re-asking your question.

Until that day comes, don't bother asking.

Dead for now on paper and likely forever in reality. I don't think it was introduced this congress. You will probably need to get a third and/or fourth party to get a majority. Republicans won't pass it - they had at least four years with lots of co-sponsors (for what that's worth - Republicans like to promise, not deliver so if it was ever allowed for a vote, probably half the sponsors would vote against it and say the Democrats made them do it) control of both chambers and the white house. Closest has been 2010 when dems ran everything but that didn't even get to an actual vote, just enough talk to scare the bureaucracy.
