TCA Show & Shoot 21-22 Sep 19

Recommended Posts

Hello Bill,

I may be attending the Show & Shoot in Sept.

I've lost track on my club membership status.

Would you or the responsible person PM me.

If it's out dated, I'll forward the payment asap.

It's on my bucket list to start attending these events.

Thanks,

Darryl

In these crazy times with all the talk of increased gun restrictions, we are very fortunate to have two very active Thompson organizations. Ignore the advice on the TCA webpage about bringing at least 300 rounds of ammunition. I suggest 400 to 500 rounds :) The numerous shooting events put on by the members of the TUSCO Rifle Club are second to none. Since the event is held in the large club house located on the range grounds, TCA takes pains in providing instruction on Saturday on how to shoot a Thompson and will allow new shooters to practice a bit under the watchful eye of trained instructors. Just tell Bill, Carol or John or any of the Officers you need a little personalized instruction. You will be more than ready on Sunday for the competition.

Tables are free at the show so display your Thompson gun(s). We know it is your pride and joy so show it off. Bring along a drum, a few magazines, a catalog and handbook and you have a display. Don't forget a table cover. To that end, if you have a few Thompson items you would like to sell, this is the perfect venue, especially since tables are free - but you must reserve in advance.

Many of us just left the All Thompson Show & Shoot and will continue our conversations at the TCA Show & Shoot. Join our crowd for another Thompson weekend. And yes, I will be providing a free gift to all those that attend the presentations.

  • 5 weeks later...

All,

By now I usually have a pretty hood count of attendees. I do not....

So if you are planning to go, please send me a line to: michjulieriwan (at) sbcglobal.net (or PM) so I can update the list and we can make sure we have enough food and tables etc.

Looking forward to another good time!

Do most folks end up leaving by 4PM on Sunday or do people stick around for a while after? I’m flying into Dayton on Sunday afternoon for some business at Wright-Patterson AFB but it’s a 3 hour drive so I wouldn’t get there until about 430. If people stick around for a while it would be worth the drive to meet some of you. If not there’s always next time.

May I suggest you fly in on Friday evening or Saturday morning and attend the Show on Saturday and the Shoot on Sunday! I am sure Mike Wank (giantpanda4) can accommodate your application at the door.
