How about it, any good gun things to see?

When I was up there in 1995, there was a tour company offering a "gangster tour" of all the infamous landmarks.

yes the "untouchable's tour"i know them very well, they are still in a bizz-a-niss, a converted school bus painted all black with white lettering............kool!!!

good tour alot of fun,get the al capone cigar...........buy some goodie's................take care,ron/colt21a

Try Super Dog on Devon and Milwaukee and Nagle...best hotdogs in the world,..Roma`s on Milwaukee ave. for Italian beef,.. Hackney`s on Harms in Glenveiw for the best burgers on black bread and onion rings you will ever have,..rumor has it that place was a mob hangout in the 20s,..use to watch bootleg Bear games on sunday afternoons in the 60s...now all I watch is my cholesteral...not a very nfa freindly town...but the food is off the charts...have fun.out.

Nick, you're in the Philly area, right? I knew a guy who would regularly drive down to the 'City of Brotherly Love' to pick up their famous Philadelphia cheesesteaks, all the way from Manhattan!! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/blink.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/tongue.gif http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/laugh.gif He claimed they were the best around, and well worth the drive! http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/cool.gif

That is true! However the drive for me is about 8 miles into the "hood" You should see those places on the weekends! (Genos and Pats are right across from each other) The lines are usually around the corners. Its pretty good for people watching too, there are a lot of "weird" people down there http://www.machinegunbooks.com/forums/invboard1_1_2/upload/html/emoticons/smile.gif

However I've driven up to SOHO to get a HOT CORNBEEF sandwhich from Katz deli! DAMN talk about a fine sandwhich! Worth the 2-3 hour drive and the $9.00 per sandwhich!!
