Springman
I noticed the machining is different on this new action bar I received today, The new one also seems a little beefier in the front where mine had cracked, is their a difference between commercial or military action bars? My M50 is blued 28 fin low serial number, new action bar is not blued.
jim c 351
I think one is an early style and the other is late.I think the answer is in the book listed above, the Reising SMG Story. If you haven't bought a copy I recommend buying one now. For $20.00 you can learn a lot.Jim C
GUNGUY45
Mine broke at the other end, down where the 2 thin arms leave the square end.Lots of stresses from the machining.Tried to weld mine(tig), but it pulled out of alignment, One of these days I'll try again. My replacement is a "Military" parkerized one.My gun is a Blued "early" one, too.
