Rabbit57
Hello Phil,Can you tell what model of sling this is, and does the metal buckle have the NoBuckL stamped on one end? Also, it is hard to tell from the photo, is the sling yellow or olive drab? Thanks,Mark Edited October 19, 2021 by Rabbit57
TSMGguy
Looks like these are the original WWII dark mustard colored M3 sling. This was the successor to the WWI produced M1917 Kerr sling. The M3 sling should have no markings as originally produced. Often, they'll have a MRT (Mildew Resistant Treatment) marking on the canvas strap, with a post war date. The M3 sling was also produced post war, with olive drab straps. Nice!

Phil Askew
It is not marked Nobuckl. Not marked Mildew Proof. I guess I would call it a dark mustard but it seems to have a slight greenish tint to it. I have 4 left.
