Oldtrooper
I picked up a really nice piece over the weekend ... A 1951 manufactured Winchester Model 12. It came with a 30 inch full choke barrel with a beautiful bore. As luck had it I happened to have a 20 inch cylinder bore Model 12 barrel in that "someday I may have a use for it" cabinet ... Fired it with both barrels and they worked great ... Did some slam firing with the 20 inch barrel ... Nice to know that it will do it, but I think that will be the last time I try it ... That said, I really like this piece.

I did find a nice early 18 ring corn cob slide to put on it to help "early" it up a bit more.
