OCM
so whats in the giant buttstock looking case???Nothing , it's a old leather take-down case for rifles or shotguns. Split compartment, I've had it for many years. Winchester offered one just like this in their 1916 catalogue the W-15 $ 5.00- Probably take the 07 just fine by taking the front grip off. No reason to tho- Normally the outlaws rolled the guns in a lap blanket in the back seat, or if they had a car trunk, like in Tucson, they would unlatch the trunk from the car and carry it in- Some trunks had a set of fitted luggage too. Common for travelers. Yes a pain, but this was 1933-34.

StooperZero
here's something interesting I ran across. I wonder if there were any 03/07's in the larger calibers made like this http://www.amoskeagauction.com/98/121.html
OCM
I forgot to get back to this... As far as anything listed in the Henwood book, 1905, 1907 & 1910 Winchester SLR , there is nothing listed for type of feeder system. Pretty damn cool tho- OCM
