Phoenix

Who all is going and where is everyone staying?

Hotel rooms are filling up already.

Alice and I will be coming from Texas (daughters for Thanksgiving) and make a road trip out of the opportunity.

Traveling in our Class B RV will probably stay at a little city RV park called the Wagon Wheel, a few miles north of the fairgrounds.

Others who  might want to get together for dinner, hang out at the show?

Post it here and we'll see if we can enjoy the show together.

Mike, Lana & Tino said earlier they were going thataway....others?

Silly question but are Thompsons usually seen at the SAR show? This is in my backyard, never been to one and just curious

Lots of Thompson's, Thompson parts, lit, mags, etc.
SAR building, and occasionally by someone elsewhere in the show.
SAR building is the best, tho.

Reviving this since the family trip to Disney that weekend just got cancelled so I can actually go.  I’m planning on being there Friday or Saturday if any of the group is there please let me know. It would be great to meet a few of you.

I live about 30 miles East of there, and will be going. I can help plan things if we want to meet up somewhere.

Just this afternoon we had our SAR "kickoff" meeting where we start listing what to bring and making sure all the arrangements are in place.
APEX has one island of 10 tables so we bring a truckload of material.
We are going to set up a bit differently this time...

My wife and I will be there too, although my wife would rather shop and sight-see with other wives as she loses interest in steel, wood and cosmoline quickly.
Let me know if any of you have bored wives who'd like to get together...makes it easier to justify travels for shows in the future (wink!).

I've heard rumblings that the SAR East show will be starting back up in Harrisburg PA.

What's the latest news on it?

Thanks,

Darryl
